Gratitude Extravaganza

"You are what your deep, driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny."
-
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, IV 4.5

I have been spreading gratitude around like softened cream cheese on a bagel. Okay, so maybe that's a pretty horrible simile, but you get my meaning. I am a complete convert to the power of gratitude and the so-called "law of attraction." The MORE I express my gratitude, the better my life gets! So now I'm adding The Gratitude Dance to my daily routine. These fellows hail from just north of my little town, and are part of a lovely trend I see growing in the world - Love. John Lennon is smiling somewhere...now let's DANCE!

Tomorrow a new computer!

My pretty new RED laptop is due to arrive tomorrow (it arrived in Portland at 1:43pm today), and that means by nightfall I'll be back in the 21st Century again with computing! The past month and a half - or has it been two months now - has been an ordeal. If the Fates were trying to teach me patience, a better method could've been chosen than to drop my nice newer computer to its virtual knees. But tomorrow is the start of a new relationship...for I am going to wipe out everything on the brand new hard drive and replace it with UBUNTU! That's right, folks, I am walking into a rosy Linux future, with nary a look back at Bill Gates and Company. Oh, alright, so I'll be using MS products on my other two systems, but even THERE I use Firefox and Thunderbird rather than Internet Exploder or LookOut. Don't confuse me with the facts when my future's so bright (I gotta wear shades).

And the best part? NOW I can have the internet and all its wonderful world of factoids at the ready as I watch old movies and television shows!

Come on, Fred! Dance with me! Now sing along...Heaven...I'm in Heaven...and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak...and I seem to find the happiness I seek, when we surf the net together, it's a treat!
